France have produced much much more talent than Spain before and after their golden era. The amount of high profile talent produced dwarfs that of Spain in those eras.

Aren't you the same guy who went on and on about Barca superior to Bayern because of the insane amount of historic superstars that played for Barca? Well then keep a similar energy here.

But you won't since the Spain loving Yank in you is a walking contradiction who steps on himself at every point without realising so.

Also, I clearly mentioned that during Spain's recent golden era they were by far the best International side around so there's no bias from me. I absolutely despise the French League and prefer the Spanish League over it anyday. No affinity to France or French players unlike you who has a Zidane Avatar and loves Benzema BTW.....

Best French players all time:

ZZ
Platini
Kopa
Henry
Thuram
Desailly
Vieira
Ribery
Benzema
Mbappe (eventually)

Best Spanish players all time:

Xavi
Iniesta
Raul
Casillas
Ramos
Alonso
Puyol
Villa
Suarez (the original one)
Butragueno
Hierro

French list is somewhat superior but the Spanish list is not midgets compared to the French one. That was my point to begin with. You've made an imaginary gap between France and Spain. Such a gap exists but for Italy and Germany compared to Spain; not France.

In Football History, Spain doesn't hold a candle to France, Italy or Germany. Simple as that.

That's despite being the most successful side in the last 15 years.

Football existed before that.

Spain has won 3 Euros and 1 World Cup. France have won 2 Euros and 2 World Cups.
Spanish clubs have won far far more european trophies too. You've clearly overrated France.

It's not about the domestic leagues. French players thriving everywhere regardless of domestic competition serves as evidence of their superiority over the Spanish. Spain had an era, but it's not indicative of the general quality of their academies. Transfer sums speak for themselves.

edit: Brasil and France are the top talent manufcaturers of world football. Rio, Sao Paulo, and Paris have no peers in respect to talent pools.

How many of these ever upcoming "french" talents have great careers? There's a reason why France NT constantly shifts players. They are inconsistent and very few could be considered long term success. Kante would be rare example.

Or they shift often because they have a far deeper talent pool to select from. As I said, the transfer market speaks for itself. There is no high demand for Spanish players, especially in contrast to France.

A better question would be, where is the top class Spanish talent anymore? Even Madrid is leaning heavily on French talent to rebuild.

France NT team are higher than Spain NT team. But if you talk about overall level (club + NT team), Spain are way above.

How many European tittles did French clubs win??? How many historic side that impacted the world football?

Italy, Spain and Germany are at highest level in Europe (club + NT)

This doesn't work that way. Brazil had incredible talent pool in 90s/00s, but their NT squad was pretty much the same in all major tournaments. France shift, because all these next best things turn out to be not what they seem and gradually disappear from the elite scene. Likes of Pogba are rule rather than exception. Have talent, but are too retarded to do anything with it.

Is this even a Convo. France produces more talent through their former colonies. Just gives them a greater physical profile to train towards the nations 1 sport.

I mean yeah, Spain could in theory have some Filipinos. But they would just be 5ft tall and want to be basketball players.

This. Without migrants, France would have Giroud, Lloris, Pavard and Griezmann.
