Kylian Mbappé

Vinicius has absolutely no reasons to accept a worse position for him. He was the best player in the world last season, will most likely win the Ballon D'Or. It's not his problem that Madrid bought Mbappe. He could of course experiment a few games, but if Vinicius doesn't want it, Madrid can't force him. He has too big a standing there right now, Mbappe or not.
It will be really interesting to follow how they want to solve this problem.

He should have came to Madrid a long time ago.

Now he's just a new super star, but not their "savior", he could have made that left wing his own back then.

Would be crazy to push Vini out for him, but stranger things have happened.

He'll be alright though, once he accepts he's not the best player in the world.

Wouldnt be suprised if they try to swap one of them for Haaland next summer.

But there is also none better than Ancelotti than dealing with stars and finding a way to get them comfortable so time yet.

Def lack structure to the side currently.

Still think Mbapee will score lots of goals. Hope it won't happen.

One thing for sure is no way he will accept being the second fiddle to Vinicius, and vice versa.

Right, this isn't France, this is club football.

What has Mbappe shown, that Vinicius hasn't?

Slow ones this frenchmen, but they start to get it.
Nevertheless Suarez got a slow start too, Neymar too in La liga. But the slow start shows his limitations as CF and his laziness.
He has no excuse, he wanted the spotlight as a main guy, while being just and effective inside-forward. That ruined PSG and I really hope it will ruin Franco Madrid (though this team is not all about football and has many safety nets, the raw talent, the municipality, state, media, the federation and UEFA).
Still think Messi - Mbappe is incredible duo. The way Messi can find Mbappe in every situations, pefectly fit for Messi's passing.

He's almost your Coutinho. Great player in his correct position but not flexible enough to be world class anywhere else. Mbappe is a very limited player tactically. Still think having Mbappe at full force is better than having Vini at his preferred position. Should stick Mbappe to LW and experiment with Vini instead.

Its what going to happen, since Mbappe is the bigger name, and Perez new galactico.

In terms of quality, i'm not sure we are gaining anything by doing that, Mbappe is a better shooter, decision maker, Vini is a better dribbler and creator, you win some, you lose some.

I hope Vini can do well at RW, but he too is a limited player tactically, i reckon.

He should have signed for the biggest club in Spain. Would probably be ripping it up with Olmo, Pedri and Lamine creating for him and he would have the left wing as his own.

Nobody at Madrid can create for him. The only one with some level of creation is Vini but the way he creates is not what Mbappe thrives of.

He needs someone who can thread a ball through the eye of a needle. Which is why he worked so well with Leo.

Madrid don't have that. We've got 3.

Barca would have been the perfect club for him, he would have had 100% guarantee spot on LW and 3-4 guys who could create chances for him.

Guy chase the wrong club, now he will suffer.

Also he learns that la liga isnt as easy as farmer league :stretcher:
