 You are clearly looking for a fight, or have a love for Vini.

By less dimensional, I just meant those other players have more ability in general play, the same way Ribery did. I never said Vinicius is poor at it, just that he's rather repetitive and his game is mostly about pace, dribbling, scoring and assisting (which, again, IS NOT PLAYMAKING).

Believe it or not, I have no problem with you, I actually like you and find you funny (even if you don't me), but equating assists with playmaking is not on for many reasons I have outlined (and you haven't even tried to justify that original point since I called it out).

Also, there's no need to be antagonistic with comments like '15 dimension playmaker'. I don't think it's silly to say Salah is a better playmaker than Vini or has more incisive passes and better vision. I am not saying Vini sucks in these areas, just that Salah is very good and better than him at them. No need to burst a blood vessel over a reasonable opinion.

Also, have I even insulted him as a player? I said he's one of the best players in the world

I said his game is quite repetitive and he has less playmaking quality than Neymar, Hazard and Salah. What is wrong with that? It is likely the truth.

Less 'but but.. he runs fast, doesnt make plays when he runs' and more actual focus while watching a football game mate

Possibly the best chance creator in La Liga since he arrived really

As a Liverpool fan, I think Maradona is slightly overrating Salah's all round game.

His all round game isn't as consistent as you think. His game keeps changing slightly every season.

In his initial Liverpool days, he was more of a run-in-behind guy and close control dribbler around the box. Then his dribbling declined and his finishing was much more inconsistent. After that he started dribbling well again and scored that banger against City when he was on fire. His final ball has improved a lot over the last couple of years but now he has lost his acceleration and can't beat defenders or dribble past them. Yesterday he destroyed Mendy though.

He's more of a final ball guy these days than a proper playmaking winger like Hazard, Neymar, Ribery who were all vastly superior dribblers and creators. Salah's movement and finishing is pretty lethal these days though. He's pretty intelligent and doesn't give up till the end.

Vini is a play maker in the same way C Ronaldo is a play maker.

Which is to say, he ain't no play maker lol.

Which is he Brazil struggles with him as the star.

He's a game breaker, game changer, assist maker, 3rd best player in the world, all that good stuff.

The point I am making is that he clearly can dribble very well at his best, and that he has that brilliant pass in his locker, to an extent Vini doesn't, even if his game changes across the years.

Dribbling? Vini easily.

Goalscoring? Salah easily.

Creativity? Close but right now Salah has the edge.

Currently, Salah is better and more consistent than Vini over a full season.

You are simplifying and strawmanning what i said, but ok.

I am tired from constant debate today anyway, so we will leave it there. Especially if you are just gonna make snarky comments.

He's playing like he has no confidence in his ability anymore which is wild to see.

Could understand it if he had a serious knee injury like Fernando Torres back in the days, but he's been healthy and should technically be in his prime.

Exactly, he's not a playmaker. This is weird with people acting like he's a playmaker extraordinaire because he gets assists...

Nah not like CR at all, was way more selfish
Vini spent years before got confident with even taking shots and set up goals instead
Set many a goal up directly or otherwise

Vini is far better than CR7 as a "playmaker" although I wouldn't really call him one either. At least not in a traditional sense.

Most of the chances he creates are on the break by slipping through a pass to another player. You won't see him unlock defenses sitting deep with his passes.

Yea way less selfish that Ronaldo, but literally everyone is.

But the primary amount of creativity they bring to the game comes from general wing play, dribbles, but backs etc.

A playmaker needs to do more than that.

World class though, obviously
