It seems Mbappe is settling, but still. Nah. To many issues behind. No way attack produces so much more to cover for defense.

He's unbelievable. Back to his best and I just hope he can't deliver such levels of consistency and eventually comes back to his 2024 form, at least for a match or two.
But take the Supercopa Clasico as an example. Mbappe was fantastic, on his best and wanted the win really bad. But his teammates fucked up, it happens, it's a team game.

Must be such a safety blanket to know that no matter how poor you play, the referees will bail you out with a free penalty to help keep your chin up.
Must be impossible for your confidence to fall with the referee parachute there to save you from every fall.

Football is a bit shit these days. Even Barca B is not worth watching despite a few good prospects there.
It's a weekly dose of Flickball and not much else for me these days. Other sides are way too boring, mechanical and in the case of Laliga just full of time making shite and Madrid having the games nudged into their favour. Blah.

He had 2 great matches against Valladolid and Las Palmas in the last two weeks - two of the worst teams in La Liga in terms of defensive quality (see stats) + the match against Red Bull - one of the worst teams in the current Champions League. The fans have already started to put the crown on him. Calm down. Let's wait for the big matches.

This is a reasonable post but it's not like Mbappe is some nobody player who hasn't proven himself against the big teams so we should doubt him now
I mean all a player of his quality really needs is confidence and with these performances he has regained it
