I'm a bit surprised by Madrid to be honest. I expected a bigger level of physical decline in their older starters, but it seems focus and motivation is a bigger issue than the physical aspect for them. The level they have accessed in this key week for them has been consistent. They could even pose a threat in the CL if they keep it up. I guess here is where the difference between professional 33 year-olders and lazy self-entitled players who think the world is against them is the most visible. Ones put their heads down and moan, and the others work harder and give more effort.

Sure, it's nice to see stats. My question is, how do you estimate and evaluate this simple key fact though: that in a fast-paced, intense game like this one, Benzema still moves like an athlete and Suarez moves like a pizza delivery guy?

Where are the stats for this?

This game reminds us why Suarez needed to go. The modern game moves around him as if he's not even there. All he can do is hope 1-2 balls fall nicely and he puts it in (he still has the striker instinct), being irrelevant 99% of the time otherwise.
