Well, league champs again, serious shot in another CL title, Benzema is great, Vinicius is on his way to be great, team is getting Mbappe and might even get Haaland, Touchmeni (that French red hot midfielder, too lazy to look it up), Raul might take over and start a brand new chapter and project, new Bernabeu is set to be completed soon with 200m-400m additional income, the great helsman and business genius Florentino Perez ...

What is there left to be worried?

I can only envy.

Nah, it's not so rosy.

Mbape is a bright prospect, and Vini
But the rest of the squad is hiding their decay like Barca did in the Valverde years.
Expect a big collapse next season

Bro mbappe is not just a bright prospect. Is he best in the world. But yes i am expecting a league win for us next season. They need to rebuild ASAP.

They're also getting Tchouameni. Will reinforce the CB position probably by getting another CB. And will probably grab a couple of free agents like Pogba and Dybala. Plus Cama and Val will progress further.

Great attack.
Very complete midfield with lots of option.
Okay defense.
World class GK.

They'll be fine.

Don't think they will get Dybala, who will not fit IMO anyway
Will not get both Pogba and Tchouameni as well.
As long as Anceloti is the coach, Cama Valverde and Tchouameni will not develop

Just giving examples.

Their lineup will still be very strong though.

Lol no

@Luft
Dont need to envy anything
Just standard to not expect things to be smooth as barely anything ever is smooth in football
Expecting improvement is optimistic as coach hasn't shown any growth and it's 'predicted' it will occur, despite evidence to contrary
Ronaldo been a flop in Clasicos for 2.5 years before started making Barca his bitch for example

See how it goes

Sure, nothing is set and predictable in football but you guys already have some great players and will get major reinforcement next season which will take you to another level. Many older players will free up their salary for you to acquire new ones.

But more than football itself, what I envy the most is the tight ship that the true Great Helmsman has been running, the trajectory of the business is going up and up under his reign. If only we had an equivalent of him...

Speaking of, it has become more and more clear how difficult it is to win the league without Valverde, only once in what is soon 5 seasons has it happened.

Well we're 'set' with players, but we need a good coach
Hardly 'only way is up' scenario

Better teams with plenty talent have flopped before it got better

EV really made winning the league look so simple that people stopped truly giving it value.
