How are people still surprised that Olmo isn't starting, you didn't follow the club for the last months? Olmo didn't play against Sevilla and played 15 minutes against Bayern. How can you expect him to start the clasico?
He has neither the fitness to start yet, nor has the club the need to risk another injury in an early league clasico, especially if you can field the same team that trashed Bayern 3 days ago....

Tbf Fermin also played just a few minutes before Bayern. Started and did pretty well at the end. They have training sessions bro. You don't have to wait for them to play 50 games before they can start.

It would be stupid to start with Olmo, I agree with Hansi. Having just recovered we better use him as impact sub.

Also Fermin did amazing versus Bayern no need to change.

They're both not comparable. Fermin isn't injury prone and he had a smaller injury.

Don't get me wrong, I value Olmo highly. Fermin deserves to start today after having two assists against Bayern though. He has proven that he has grit in those high pressure games. Player of the olympic tournament too. Good to have options on the bench. No more XI starts due to seniority. You have to fight hard to start a game which is a good sign.
