In his defense, first half was a complete mess too. SEcond half much better when Sociedad got tired.

The defense has certainly improved from the last few seasons. The offense looks incredible. Stegen looks good again (hope no jinx after two games). Midfield is the messy part. I hope he can fix that, and we could be solid.

The biggest issues:

Midfield
Fullbacks

Great win, still don't think we play especially well, the team is very disjointed at times, but i guess we are on track for now.

Fati and Rafinha just brought Bar?a's game in order. The players calmed down and began to play more confidently. Well, the beauty of Barcelona's goals. Watch and watch. Hope it's a start.

System never clicked, especially in deep md where FDJ was bad to say the least, and with two slow CBs the ground was not covered fast enough...

But, great individual quality of Dembele and Ansu won the game.
Ferran starting ahead of Ansu was a colossal mistake that shouldn't happen again.

The formation though is work in progress, and once the team masters it, it can solve many more problems that the rigid 4-3-3 can't

Wouldn't call Christensen slow actually. Garcia improved too. His top speed today was 34km/h. Not bad.

(Garcia lacks acceleration though)

Our defense is actually quite good level physically, especially if you change Garcia with Kounde.

Yeah, on a one-on-one Isak can make anyone look silly, and generally Eric done well and was unlucky for the goal.

Btw that Eric top speed above? It's higher than Araujo's
