He shouldn't underestimate Dortmund, but if he was worried about going to Germany with a four-goal lead then I don't know what to say. He's done the right thing as this is by far the more important game to not lose.

This is a departure from me saying they deserve to be respected before the first leg, but there's a difference between 'they deserve respect' and 'they can hammer you by four goals'.

I'd be amazed, absolutely amazed, if Dortmund win by four goals in midweek.

Agree, not a chance in hell. I see this going similar to the Bayern tie in 2015...and we won the 1st leg only 3:0 then...then 2nd leg lost 3-2, even though we were 1-2 up and the tie was done after that.

Can see a similar story in Dortmund...if they go all out attack from the start I see us scoring at least one or even two goals in the first half already...Raphinha and especially Yamal will kill them in counters...and the rest of the game will just be killing time. I think even Ansu might get a good 20-25 minutes in Dortmund, if Flick was telling the truth about him training much better now.

We might lose the 2nd leg, but we're not losing by more than one, two tops. I see a good 2-2 or maybe 3-2 Dortmund win, after a 1-1 or 1-2 in the 1st half, and the team being in full cruise control mode for the last half hour, already looking ahead to the Celta game. Hopefully both Yamal and Pedri don't (have to) play more than 60 minutes against Dortmund, as there will be no need to.

Yeah, I think at worst they win by two goals. I guess if they go three up Barca could collapse and concede the fourth but it's highly unlikely.

If he is concerned about that then he's simply going absolute worst case scenario rather than being practical. If he'd have rested most of the team tonight in preparation for what is 99 percent likely to be a dead rubber, I would have been extremely disappointed in him.

Even if they do win by two, I think it's something like 4-2, with us scoring two quickly, may even lead 1-2 at HT, and with them scoring three in the last half hour, with the last one just before FT. Tie progression won't (shouldn't) be questioned at any time, I have full trust in that, and I think this team and Flick especially have earned that much this season.

Let's put it this way - if Barca can't progress despite going to Dortmund with a four goal lead, they wouldn't have been worthy European champions anyway.

Best not to worry about stuff that is rarely likely to happen. Especially not when Leganes drawing is a bigger possibility than Dortmund eliminating you.
