Team is back in training today and should be fresh for visit to Vittoria, Basque land.

Problem could be the conditions as it looks like rain entire Sunday there. Hope Flick factors it in.

Also it's Tue-Sun we play after YB game, a good amount of rest plus squad had two days off.
And didn't really break a sweat against YB (except Raph, he probably didn't even take the two days off - he just kept running lol).

After this game our squad is finally back to relatively normal when it comes to injury crisis. We'll have a decent squad to face Sevilla, Bayern and Madrid. Only 2 of our CBs will be really missing, although the existing CB partnership is performing at a top level so it shouldn't be felt that much.

What Flick has managed to do with this injury plagued squad in La Liga, that is first spot and 8/9 wins definitely deserves respect. He needs to extend it to one more game vs Alaves and then continue the streak after international break.

We overcome this and our season will look hopeful. Top of the league, while having the thinnest squad in a while and compared to other teams, while playing very good football, scoring a lot of goals, and having a relatively hard schedule.

It's good to be in this position. If it was Xavi ball, our season would have already been over.

Lets see the lineup and then I will make a score prediction.

According to a report from @ferrancorreas Szczesny was supposed to be called up thanks to his good form, but 10 minutes later when the squad was released he wasn't there.

Think it wouldn't have hurt to have him on the bench at least to let him get used to warmup and match routines.

If Barca at some point is up 3-0 Flick needs to mass sub all the players with the most minutes. Kounde/Lewa/Pedri/Yamal are all prime candidates. We cannot be risking ACLs of these guys.

It's no coincidence Barca and RM are snapping knees of their players over and over. Small squads and tons of games.

This is what the 3rd or 4th straight start for Torres, he's like a roach, can never be rid of them.

He's going to score today and drag on our misery a few more games, smh.

Would rather pedri pushed up and Garcia start, so I didn't have to see his face, but oh well.
