With Ronaldo on the filed today Real wouldn't have won: they have to feed him and his huge ego constantly.
Without him, they can play as a team and each other player can show his qualities.
He isnt that much of a forced liability though. It usually just goes all to him so he can shoot. With the way Eibar is playing it would be like facing Espanyol for Ronaldo.

Thank you Eibar for taking points away from Real Madrid at the Bernabau earlier this season, but today you are just pathetic. They might actually be worse at home than when playing away. At least against Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico.

The problem is that he usually has to shoot 10 times just to score one, at my house this is a total failure and liability to the system.
The majority of tophies they won they could have won them without him just fine, and if they are smart they sell him in the summer, get huge amount of money from a player who is almost finished and replace him with a top class striker, who can play with and for the team.
At that point, it will be the moment when they will start to win more than 1 Liga in 10 years.

The type of performances that gave laliga a real bad rep. Nothing is wrong with loosing but everything is wrong with loosing playing like that. You could havebthrown eleven grandpas and they would have had a decent chance against EIbar today.

Real Madrid are so much better without Cristiano Ronaldo: every game they played without his primadonna ass on the field, they won it.
The day they will understand this and they will sell him, it will be the day that we are definitely fucked.

They are. The opposite of Barça without Messi.

Which is deeply worrying. Several years later both will be gone and clearly we are in a much worse off condition compared to them.

Team play vs. individual brilliance. This board is making us look like Real Madrid and uncle Flo is making them look like us.

Yes, this is very worrying. Took floper a while, but he managed to make smart signings. They have a great squad for present and future, while we barely have a good one for the present.

We can switch to a teamplay somewhat easily.
But not today, when everything is built around Messi and MSN.

When we'll want to switch, we'll have to buy 1-2 new midfielders and less than 3 star forwards.

Currently our midfield is the weakest link however several years down the road, in the post-Messi Barça I think the offense line will be our weakest link. After Suarez and Messi are gone, all we have left is Neymar. Who else do we have in the offensive position? Who else is in the pipeline? Mujica? Munir? Paco?

Real Madrid has Bale, Morata, Vasquez, Arsensio, Mariano and Mayoral and potentially the Norwegian wunderkind all waiting in the pipeline to fill in the shoes after Ronaldo and Benzema are gone, in the offense line alone.

Our firepower will be very underwhelming compared to theirs several years later.

its not really dramatic situation, as BBZ said, with few quality players, 2 Midfielders, good coach can do the magic, madrid´s best player is modric, he is 30 and injury prone, they dont have much better squad, isco will probably leave, nacho, morata, casimeiro, asensio, kovacic, caravajl, bale? im not impressed

edit: vasquez also, but is he really first team material player or just a good bench player?

Take out MS and Iniesta who will be gone in several years, the rest of our squad is even less impressive than theirs.

We need to invest in some young forwards.

It is when you look at our board and sporting director. Last summer was a good indicator we should be worried.
