I wanted him before that too. He's a very functional and versatile midfielder. Good physicality and skill.

It really depends on who we get as a DM in this summer, but for some reason, we can't get a DM this summer, Paredes would be a good free transfer in 2025. He's at an age where he can be phased out later on and allow players like Bernal to develop without pressure.

Would have been great to have him in summer 2023 though.
