Not backed by a club where he won it all.
Goes into hiding at German NT where he is terrible. "The 58-year-old became the first Germany head coach to be sacked since the position was created in 1926."
No other big club is remotely interested in him.
Hasn't created a team on his own and suddenly is wanted by a club like Barca who want a manager to do exactly that.
Has no track record of coaching anywhere else in Europe.

Big problem with Flick also is he never coached a big team except Bayern. He was everybodys darling there before he became head coach. He had nothing to loose and somehow it worked out for him. At team Germany he lacked authority towards media and towards the players. Just too soft. He just isnt suited to coach big teams. He will never ever stand the pressure coming from the Spanish Press. He is a nice lad for sure but unable to show balls. When he held that aggressive speech it was absolutely seen as unnatural and totally constructed from him. Everyone in Germany was laughing at his "Performance". Simply not him...implausible like he was an actor in a movie. Everyone noticed that. Not the right one for Barca. Far too soft.

Ancelotti failed at Bayern, Everton and Napoli but has won 4 times the cl. If a coach fails at X, it doesnt mean he will also fail at Y, Z. Germany didnt survive 2018 WC group stage so they were already crap before Flick has gone there. I thought also he will do better in 2022 but maybe he is a coach who needs to see his squad everyday to get the best results? I think most guys have forgotten how bad Kovac- Bayern was, they were harmless against Liverpool in 18/19, looked like a tier 2 team and lost 1-3 at home. The last match before Flick came there they lost 1-5 to Frankfurt. Atm every coach has risks except maybe Pep&Klopp.

Wish Barcilliant (BJJ) would do everyone a favor and just jump ship - 100% of his posts are crying about Barca and dancing for RM and Bayern. Literally no one in here believes Barca management and board are doing a great job yet this lad's rinse repeat posts are always about how we're "deluded" (can't be deluded if everyone recognizes the shit we're in) and how everywhere else is rosy (ignoring that the mighty Bayern have had their fair share of humiliations of late and especially historically). No club model is perfect.

Ancelotti hasn't failed at Napoli, was fired due to not wanting to be De Laurentiis' dog.
He didn't actually fail at Everton either. You could argue that he didn't turn them into a top 6 club, but it's Everton after all. And he wasn't sacked, he just left for Real.
You could argue that he was a failure at Bayern. But not in any way comparable to how Flick failed at Germany NT.

All the options being mentioned: Nagelsmann, Flick, De Zerbi, Tuchel(lmfao) are far from perfect and have some serious concerns about them.
All will be an upgrade over Xavi, but no one should act like we hit the jackpot if we hire any of these guys, and I like Nagelsmann and De Zerbi as managers.
None of them are certified elite managers like Klopp is.
