We should go for Motta. Flick basically had one good season in his entire life and that was during Covid when he inherited team after Kovac was fired. Furthermore, he was awful with German NT.

I honestly can't understand why people think that he is the solution for our problems?!?! To me it looks like we are hiring a German version of Roberto Di Matteo! However, if Laporta wanted German coach than I would definitely prefer Tuchel regardless of his failure with Bayern.

He did what he can with a dying German NT.

had one good season where he broke every record ? ill take that over a "zero achievement" andy .

Mota 2024 is what De zerbi was in 2023 ... nothing to see here

First, you can't claim that Motta and De Zerbi are similar cases. No on can claim that simply because we don't know what will happen in the future. Second, Motta already has a longer managerial club career than Flick. Third, we'll see how that "dying" NT will perform in Euro. Finally, if we are talking about achievements and trophies Tuchel has more than Flick so why should Flick have an advantage over him?

Hansi "Ponzi" Flick is about the biggest gamble of a manager one could make.

He wont a Covid Sextuple with 3 of those trophies being automated in Bayernliga, facing Sevilla in the UEFA Supercup and facing Tigres UANL in FIFA Club World Cup.

The champions league is to his credit but again these were glorified friendly matches played behind closed doors with no fans and many players coming down with covid. The whole tournament was a mess.

Flick is a complete unknown. Took a Bayern side who looked hopeless under Kovac and made them play fantastic football. However the national team stint was hopeless. He plays such a high line that every game is exciting but it defensively it's very vulnerable.

If he fails at Barca, his next managerial appointment will be in the desert.

So you want to take a gamble on Mota and hope he don't turn into a De Zerbi ?

Sevilla in super cup is an easy task ? remember how City got lucky last year against the worst Sevilla in decades ?

So by the same mean Pep's sextuple is garbage and means nothing ?

btw he won 7 trophies not 6 !!

And yeah Bayern finishing 3rd this year is Bayrenliga

De Zerbi was a forum favourite at one point this season, all whilst he ended up winning less games than Sean Dyche's Everton

Him getting Barca manager shouts was just about the perfect example of how fickle football fans can be. A few wins and a couple threads from Twitter tactico's and he's the next Guardiola.

TITANIUM Thomas.

Get out of here .. unless by success you mean a lot of media brawl even more than Xavi.

Don't get me wrong anyone of them is more capable than Xavi, but Tuchel is a modern Mourinho, they'll do anything to win one season even if it means being dead the next one.

But for now noting official so 90% Xavi is our manager next season and maybe the next one too.

Let's speak in the languages of facts.

What kind of base does Flick have?

Take any ideological coach, each of them had a base.

Guardiola - Cruyff, Bielsa, Van Gaal, etc.

Arteta - Guardiola, Wenger, La Masia.

Nagelsmann - learned from the example of Tuchel, Pep and other famous German coaches. Already as a young man, he was immersed in tactical and analytical research.

Xavi - Van Gaal, La Masia, Pep, Enrique, etc.

Etc.

But who is Flick? What's behind him? Which school? What base?
Low? Duh

Nobody is as undisciplined as Xavi is infront of the media and on the sidelines

Xavi is more of a modern day Mourinho than any other manager out there. Tuchel is miles away from that.

TITANIUM Thomas beat Pep Guardiola in a CL final playing Kai Havertz as a #9. That overshadows any accomplishment that Flick has had,
