Lionel Messi - v7

Messi can say whatever the fuck he likes, he's proved to be a fucking loser after backing Valverde. Still livid at that.

He's now earnt the right to have the biggest say in the Club (and I think that goes out of any player in any Club in history), when he talks people listen, yet he decided to back that loser cunt Valverde.

His words are hollow now, can wind his remaining years down playing second fiddle to the likes of fucking Van Dijk, can't believe it.

Its sad but true,

It’s so embarrassing to see how this Club and Messi get mocked by outsiders. Nobody respects this club anymore after our yearly UCL humiliations.

True. Look at Frenkie. Critizing our game today and his own performance, because he was named man of the match. He has the right attitude to say the right things. Barca needs someone who will show them how to play and what to do. A lot of players are clueless, especially Dembele, Coutinho etc. They have no idea what they are doing and it's such a waste right now.

will score again 50+ goals in all comps.

The big questions is, will he carry the team through tough CL away games?

Before anyone panic it's a minor injury. But I feel kinda sorry for the Murican fans who probably were excited to see him in the US.

These trips are good for team building so it would've been good to have the captain there as well, but I guess it's better to recover at home.

As usual.. Barca will develop a more balanced attractive football overall until Messi is back .. then we will go back to Messi leading the hierarchy pyramid in the pitch. We will be winning matches in both scenarios

While it gives other players chance to step up while Messi is absent it will be a waste of time in the end since to your point, when Messi is back it will be back to the usual Messidependencia style, so tactics wise whatever they come up with is not going to stick for too long.

More importantly we have become so bad scoring-wise without Messi. I don’t care about the friendlies but if Messi is not ready for the opening rounds of La Liga in a couple of weeks and I think he won’t (recovery and gaining match fitness takes time and he is already in doubt for the opener against Athletic), we will suffer early into the competition.
