Good read and confirms what we were already suspecting. Bartomeu is full of shit and we should sell even for a sum as little as 50m + some players like Angelino and Garcia. Which with Messi's huge salary would add to nearly 150m. saved over the next year. Money that are very valuable for the rebuilding of this team in a shorter period.
Exactly. That is true, and regardless of the reasons why Messi turned bitter (we can all speculate in ways that make Messi look both bad or good), this is the reality today and we need to make the best decision considering that.

Barca under Koeman should work on building a TEAM instead of the next superstar we can then label a flop

Messi doesn't want this dispute over the clause in his contract to go to court and City won't want the risk of retroactively being charged 700m in a few months after signing him. Leo will leave either through a negotiated deal or a fee set by FIFA via the Webster ruling.
Right now Messi is just using the free transfer clause case as an excuse to miss training so the board are pressured into negotiating a deal quicker. If the worst comes to the worst he will get his price fixed and leave that way.
Past few dozen pages are people arguing about something that will never see the light of day in court. Odds of him leaving for free is zero.

So it maintains the theory saying Messi can walk free but want to settles things down for one or both reasons :
1) Getting some money for Barca
2) Having everything set on stone to avoid any legal battle with Barcelona
