Dembele was biggest threat in terms of chance.. other than that howitzer Busi was as close to scoring as Messi really but he had a good game.

He cant influence games from half way line in way could in past. Needs pace up top to give options and pin teams back but Messi is not finished in CL. No chance. He just needs right team around him.

dembele is mostly a threat for our chances of going through teams in CL KOs.

No you said he was 'only' goal threat when Dembele was getting the best chances and missed them.

Of course he can do it in CL. If couldnt none of these teams would be so desperte for him.

The point is not about Dembele but Messi was not only threat to PSG not even close to that. He played well and he and team were poor finishing really outwith that screamer.

Who is asking you to praise Dembele?

Of course you wont praise him or anyone else regardless. Only Messi.

Griezmann could score/assist 35 goals this season and you will still say same repeated comment about 'no end product'.

CL (especially in prior years) is impossible to win by a player on their own.

What he needs is 2-3 world class players around him to mask some of his flaws and highlight his many strengths.

Fati Haaland Messi would be near unstoppable in CL IMO. Haaland won't find a better creative genius and Messi won't find a better predator.

I think that there are stll many questions around Fati. Not sure if he will be able to maintain his pre-injury form, even if he didn't get injured.

Dembele was supposed to be our main threat and he was but he really messed up all the finishing.
Even in the first game he could have scored.
The issue is he has astonishing pace which really messes with teams' defenses. If he was more consistent he would be unstoppable in that role.

He should have been let go in the summer.At least that is what some ''specialists'' like serghei said.Were we would have been without Messi contribution this year?I 'll have a go:battling with the likes of Sevilla and Sociedad for that fourth place trophy.
