Better players?

Do we have better players? Not really.

I hold carvajal as a better player than alves, pepe/ramos as better than Pique/masch, and alba and marcelo as pretty even.

Kroos is better than rakitic, modric is the same as busi, iniesta in form is just masterful, but this season isco has been better.

MSN owns BBR. To put it otherwise, we have the best player the world has ever seen, they dont.

Our advantages are form, we play as a team, camp nou and Messi.

Reals advantages are perez and the refs.

As for the players of Barca and Real. Yes, maybe Carvajal is better than Alves (because he is much younger, prime Alves was worth 6 Carvajals) and Modric and Isco may be better than our own midfielders. But still, Rakitic-Iniesta-Mascherano/Busquets are not far behind anyhow. Marcelo-Ramos-Pepe may be a bit better than Pique-Mathieu-Alba on paper, but our players are in better form right now.

You must also consider that the midfield and defensive positions do not have the same impact as the attacking positions, and that is exactly where we pawn Real Madrid. All our forward players are far superior to those of Real Madrid, and this is what will probably make the big difference. You must also take into account the fact that our players are a better unit than Real Madrid's as many others have pointed out as well.

With both Modric and Isco on the field they let in 4 goals......4 GOALS. Bad day or not this Barca would never concede 4 goals to freaking Schalke in the champions league no less. Better midfield my ass.

That's Galactico mentality. If RM has more stars they must be the better team. Our players have better synergy as a team than RM. CR7 and Gareth Bale are not bad players individually, but you put them on the field together they look like crap. We have our strengths and weaknesses like any other team, but I feel we are better team today with our current squad than RM. Feel free to disagree.

I think they will keep their motivation for next 2 UCL games and after that they will shift their focus to other teams.

Thats interesting. I havent read any posts where someone explicitly associate we with the galactico mentality. Please show them to me.
