People keep trying to pinpoint ONE particular factor but it's many different things that have come together for a perfect storm.

First Barto and Co. Clowns. Zero planning, just spend money on players we don't need. Second the senior core is finished. Physically and mentally they're not up for it anymore. They are entitled pricks. Thirdly Shitverde who was supported by board and players. This guy did more damage than people think. Pampered the players, bent over for the board. Shit tactics.
Hopefully Napoli put us out of our misery because Bayern would anhilihate us.

Thank you and well said. I knew we were in trouble after 4-0 lose vs Liverpool and players kept defending Valverde. It was obvious they were just defending him for the sake of their comfort, not for the best of the team (ability wise).

All those comments last summer, like Alba saying "Fans want too much from us" yada yada. This is Barca not Stoke. They should be here to win, not lose 4-0 away pitch.

Barca is the most expensive team in the world and the players say fans want too much. You are paid the highest football salary in the world, because of that, fans expect you to perform on certain level!

I cant decide whether the players have gone that bad that quickly or are they simply not playing for the manager, if its the latter its completely unacceptable. They look to have no hunger whatsoever. Hard watch week in week out, zero excitement in the play.

Well if them playing for the manager looks like Valverde football then it's most likely a quality issue as well

Post COVID we had one good game, the Villarreal match. Watching Bar?a used to be a joy - time well spent. It's sad that we have reached the end of an era.

Osasuna is almost Europa league quality, so this was going to be a tough match for this current Barca team. Then, with no Busquets in the starting lineup, and also no Suarez, Osasuna became the favorite. Barca rarely wins without Busquets. Fati tries, and he has talent, but at this stage of his development he is not the forward that Messi needs.

The team is burned out, the end of the Liga season will be merciful. It can work to have a number of older players, but not when these older players have to play ridiculously high workloads. Septien shows no signs of being a good Barca manager, but the main problem is not the manager. After the season restarted, with two Liga games every week for six weeks, the lack of quality depth was absolutely fatal.
