Is nobody going to mention that messi maybe needs a rest. In all seriousness he should have come off the pitch after 3 goals against eibar. He didn't look sharp tonight but maybe it was just one of those nights

Girona overcommitted to containing Messi, can't blame them. Maybe it worked, they only lost by 3.

I thought the encouraging things from this game were:
L. Suarez very active, back on the score sheet.
Rak OK at DM, so Valverde can avoid overplaying Busquests too bad.
S. Roberto very good at RB.
Masch back in form.
Vidal on the wing definitely better than Deulo.

We rested some players and still won pretty easily at a place where AM dropped points. Good win.

We are finally +7 points clear and we could easily lose that with silly rotations right away and with playing Alena.
Why exactly should we play Alena in a round 6?

He can play in the last 10 rounds if we'll have +10 points, in all cup matches, and from time to time when we are leading 3:0 in the last 20-30 minutes.
Absolutely no reason to put a single player infront of a club.

Alena is ready for first team football, even champions league as far as i'm concerned, not as a starter of course but off the bench. He has alot more to offer than say Gomes AND Vidal, players who we regularly complain about.
