He was bang average for us when given chances.
Literally every player we've bought since 2015 has been average or worse. Perhaps it's just us and not them? I definitely don't see Digne's beautiful crosses working when there's literally no one in the box, as it was so common back when he was here.
Either way, he's a monster in the PL. Second best LB after Robertson, and constantly puts in great performances against clubs like Liverpool and City. A massive warrior in work-rate and defending as well. Wish I could say the same about "crying during half-time" Alba.

He wouldn't be effective with Barca. He lacks the good pass. We don't need someone who crosses. (Lack of finishers).
On the ball there is nothing between him and Roberto/Semedo - aka bang average. He has tons of space to run in for Everton and has a decent cross in him, which benefits from weaker teams attack patterns. Theres a reason we usually finish like 10 league positions above teams like Everton, and thats not all down to Messi.
