Rooney cost £25.6 million
£ 25 million = € 32 million. That was in 2004. Considering the average inflation rate of ~ 3 % per year that's € 40 million over 8 years.
Rooney cost £25.6 million
Sir Alex Ferguson crying:
"I find it quite amazing that a club can pay €45 million for a 19-year-old boy. They must have spent about £150 million in the last month. As you know, the only deterrent to that is UEFA."
It is fucking ridiculous that Arabs have waged a war against each other because of oppression and difficult living standards and here comes an asshole of the highest order shelling out 43 million on 19 year old when half that money could have saved so many lives. At least the money went to Brazil, a country I have no idea why I like besides things I see on tv and the club can spend it on children who play good football.
Honestly, you're going to have a shitty life if you go around thinking like that. What is it, 2% of the world's population owns 50% of the world's wealth. The bottom 50% of the world's population owns less than 1% of the world's wealth. Life is a bitch, reflecting over it unfortunately doesn't change anything.
PSG's owners, are they from Qatar or are they Saudi/Emirati?
I hope so, I hate to see Barca play galactico but you just know Rosell dreams about Neymar every night.
Very well said Raed. Seriously, this deal has made me sick to my stomach tbh.It is fucking ridiculous that Arabs have waged a war against each other because of oppression and difficult living standards and here comes an asshole of the highest order shelling out 43 million on 19 year old when half that money could have saved so many lives. urrr.. arent you a madrid fan? talking about spending ridiculous money that could help people. Unemployment is highest in Spain of all of Europe.
teams arent built by money and even buying star players if you concider that in 2007-2008 barcelona had henry ronaldinho etoo deco messi together and before they bought zambrotta yaya toure and the team got 3rd in the leauge and eliminated by cup and cl. but we cant forget that rjkaard wasnt the greatest of managers, real madrid is the biggest example that money doesnt make great teams
yes right now they seem good but its that barcelona have the most of their best players out of academies unlikely psg spends big amounts for every good player they see and 45 million its just too much for a young player but he is promising i still think that even with those players psg wont make the biggest thingsUhm, not that I like it one bit, but actually their current team is bloody good. And if any team is made of money(silly expression really - which team isn't?), it's the current RM squad.
