If Atletico are safe in third I dont think they will play the Barca game with much intensity.

Also do Real not have their harder run of games around the CL semis. Which if hey get there would make it hard for them to keep on winning.

Atletico would have to have 7 points ahead of Valencia with two games left to be sure of 3rd place when they meet us. Slim chance of that happening.

Considering that Valencia still have to play RM and Barca away from home it is not.

After yesterday RM can´t say that they have the easier matches left.

But let's not forget how we played in the first half yesterday. If this performance, of course barring the individual errors, is any indicator of our end-of-season form I think we have all reason to be very optimistic against anyone. I mean, we played absolutely fantastic up to 0-2, and it's such a shame this becomes completely overshardowed by the unfortunate result at the end.

These mistakes are at the end of the day very rare, for instance I doubt we'll be seeing Pique mess up like that again this season...

They can now. Yesterday's result means the AM game could be decisive. No team starts as big favorite on Calderon.

Most of fans are trashing Lucho, and nobody talks about how our team missed like 100s of chances in the last few matches (except against Almeria).
Real, Man. City, Celta, Sevilla...

Neymar had 10 bad matches and a good match yesterday. But still he hasn't scored from an open play for 10 matches in a row, if I am not mistaken.
Messi scores a lot, but also missed a lot of chances in the last Month.
Suarez missed a lot of chances in the last Month, and yesterday again.

Lucho made some mistakes, but what about 100s of missed chances by our attackers, Iniesta without a Goal/assist for a year, and individual errors from Bravo, Pique and similar?

We can have 5 coaches working together in one match, they won't be able to do anything if we won't be able to score and kill off matches.

We couldn't kill off: Man. City, Real, Man. City again, Celta, Sevilla.
Awesome.

Awesome.

Again ignoring Neymars copa goals for some reason.... He did not go ten games without a goal but was not in good form for last few months.

Anyway people are commenting on yesterdays game not all those others you are talking about when by and large Lucho was given a lot of credit for those performances/wins.

I am not looking at a single game out of context because it is stupid, imo.
This draw is a part of a 25 awesome winning streak, on one side.

But also, this result is not that strange, when you consider that we had a lucky win over Celta with a set piece Goal.
Yesterday again a set piece goal.

I will talk only about league matches now, because League and CL is what matters, not a minor trophy (no offense to anyone) national cup.

Our last 4 League matches:
Eibar:Barca 0:2
-- Messi, penalty
-- Messi, a header after a corner kick
Barca:Real 2:1
-- Mathieu, a header after a free kick
-- Suarez
Celta:Barcelona 0:1
-- Mathieu, a header after a free kick
Sevilla:Barcelona 2:2
-- Messi
-- Neymar, a free kick

So, in the last 360 Minutes against "normal" opponents (ok, I removed Almeria's match), we scored 2 goals from an open play.
Some will say: don't remove Almeria, ok.
Without Almeria, we have 4 matches in a row where we haven't scored more than 1 goal from an open play in any match.
With Almeria, we have 4 out of 5 last matches where we struggled to score.

We can't be lucky all the time.
Against City and Real, people were saying that attackers were missing chances because the match was "done".
Lol.

What now, against Celta and Sevilla?

The concentration of our Fcs has gone down in the last few weeks.

Again, if you look only at yesterday's match, this can look like a surprise.
But if you are looking at the last few matches, I wasn't too surprised yesterday.

Again, Neymar hasn't scored from an open play since 15th February.
Iniesta hasn't scored for a year.
Rakitic doesn't score too much/or enough lately.
Busi, Alba, Alves, Xavi=they never score lately.

And Messi's and Suarez single goals aren't enough lately.

We will need to score more goals.

Haha so now Neymar 'hasnt scored from open play'. What does it matter that his goal was from a free kick and not open play?

Messi and Suarez goals have been enough lately.

You are trying to take this debate down a different route when all people are speaking about is the way Lucho managed the game yesterday in particular the last hour when Sevilla were posing a lot of problems.

I kind of feel it harsh the criticism lucho is getting.
Since the loss to sociedad has been brilliant and got us through some of the most difficult games of the season. He made one bad sub decision and everyone is saying that is the reason we lost. They are ignoring the fact that our attacking players have been wasteful with chances for the last 4-5 games, and that both of Sevilla's goals were individual errors. What pique was thinking trying a pass like that when we are 2-1 up and not really in control of the game is beyond me. Yet the fans are ignoring that and focusing on lucho? Lucho's bad sub would have not changed the outcome of the game if his players hadn't let the team down.
