Higuain is gone. Suarez is his replacement.
Didn't realise his contract expired. Curious.

Because you cannot sell a player without his consent. He has a contract, and he can stay if he wants.don't know where this whole "he's not leaving until barcelona pays his 25M" thing is coming from.
why don't we sell for a symbolic sum - 1M? and let him negotiate with juventus.
my guess is that he wants the same salary for the season, which juventus don't want to match and barcelona don't want to contribute to(like juve paying 70% and barcelona 30%)
there might be a loyalty bonus involved also, which barcelona would have to pay if the player leaves through a transfer.
It didn't expire, he still has a year left on his contract.

Yea. He isn't obligated to leave so he holds all the cards right now.
If he stays and we don't buy another striker there's a good chance he plays 60% of matches meaning another automatic renewal.
He knows this.
No chance he plays 60% if stays and he will know that.
Cards are not all with him as he potentially give up a three year contract on good wages and playing time.
I hope he leaves but It's tough to predict what happens.
If the window closes and he remains Koeman will use him especially if there is an injury or if Greizmann, Braithwaithe misfire.
Long before Koeman came he spoke about wanting to stay and contribute. Plus his wife and family are settled here.
We'll see what happens.

+1 cannot risk not playing and lose a three-year (well paid) deal.
If he stays and Barca don't play him then who'll sign him at 34 after no football for a year?
How predictable is this going to be when Suarez also stays.....
