Luis Suárez

The sad thing is that you bums dont know football are you even watching what's happening!?? Do you not see that he has no service whatsoever!? I saw tonight yet again 11 times Suarez makes a run past the defense and no pass towards him. Enrique doesnt know how to utilize him anymore there is no creativity no through passes, or changing of formation to play with 2 strikers. Dani Alves was a master at finding suarez with long good through passes or crosses, he doesnt get that at all anymore, how are you so blind and see the system where Suarez is always stuck between 2 3 Cbs at all time, it makes it even worse that Messi does not stick to RW, to give him more space. You all shall see next season if we get a good coach what a monster of a player Suarez is, im not blaming him today for anything when neymar shoots 10 x instead of passing into orbit

You cant just pin this on lack of service. Suarez was dreadful and his style of play is not conducive to getting older.

He is declinling but I wouldn't sell him, we still need him and he was good earlier in the season. Plus we won’t be able to find anyone to replace him.

That said, we seriously need to think about buying young forward and strikers to replace both Suarez and Messi in the long term.

We should sell him and go for Mbappe. But he'll stay, as Messi's bestie. And we'll keep going down the Milan route.

Anyone who is talking about keeping him for another season is speaking from the heart not head. Yes he has scored bags of goals for us and has had rough patches before, but nothing like this. Stop being disillusioned by romanticized moments of this past and sell him now, it is the only rational descion. When a striker loses their hunger they are not the same player any more, Suarez has lost it.

Suarez just got a massive new long-term contract. He's not going anywhere IMO. He's 30 and on extremely high wages for many years to come. Mbappe could of course replace him.

I am still not sure if him being bad lately (or in the second half of the season) has everything to do with his decline or the collective depressing rut that we have been in thanks mostly to Luis Enrique. Yes he has been bad but the overall gameplay does affect a player. I still remember vividly earlier this season he was rated as one of the best CFs along with Lewandowski. I'd keep him for at least one more season under a new manager.

Yes' I'd love us to get our hands on Mbappe, just for the hype's sake. :p

This is the time you sell whilst a big fee can still be gotten. Ferguson was a master at selling at the right time.

Well our board is filled with dumb cunts so we'll probably give him an extension with higher wages rather than sell which we should do.

. They dont know how to involve suarez simply no Service all season just bad , im watching tonight Suarez made dozen of runs behind juve defense and not one pass towards him, steven gerrard was a master at that, dani alves used to provide suarez with great long passes for many goals non and crosses these players know how to do that. Anyone who truly knows football sees the problem here, and its not Suarez, i watch Real madrid and they created so so many chances, Barca doesnt, and its terrible that Messi is no longer RW. If messi stays at RW it will give Suarez more space, + we lost dani alves and nobody replaced him on RW. something he doesnt have anymore. Wait and see until we get a good coach

Mbappe for Suárez, are you crazy? Not saying the kid doesn't have talent, but come on, we need a more established player in my opinion... Unless we get him, keep Suárez and get rid of the horrible bench we have, so the french has time to learn instead of throwing him to the lions as a direct replacement...

After a bitter elimination people tend to say sell this player and sell that player. I don't want to be succumbed to that kind of sentiment right now.

I know my beloved friends Bojan DonAK KingMessi Origami will say i am trolling but I wouldn't mind selling him at all if he could be sold

Sell him while teams can still offer big money to get him

Reduces the burden on our wage bill, and we can get a young gun to take over ala Mbappe

But you know it's the old troll from BF, and these are just opinions so i guess he'll stay till he's 36

Mbappe isnt just a "talent". Same with Dembele. Dembele and Mbappe are rare gems and two of the best players in the world already.

Why cant you put 1+1 together. Last season Suarez scored 60 goals 24 assists. What has changed? Well for starters Messi used to operate on Right wing about 80% of time. 2nd we had best RB in Dani alves bombing foward providing great service to Suarez great crosses great through passes many goals from Suarez cane from alves and from right side. With Messi playing RW it gives Suarez much more space. Suarez in this system is a prisoner, stuck between 2 or 3 cbs in the middle. ( Messi plays deep) and only attacking threat on RW now is sergio roberto cough cough) The only thing he can hope for is running behind the defense waiting for a pass that doesnt come anymore. I hope Suarez moves to RW for reminder of the season because being stuck in this system in the middle is awful under Enrique.

Suarez is the least technical no 9 we have had at the club ever!
Eto'o and Vila where miles miles, I dare say eons ahead in that field

He maybe is the best striker in the world but he is far from being the best for Barça I've been saying that from his first season.

We are a team that play in small spaces with short quick passing, a playstyle that require to be not perfect but very consistent technically speaking, something which has been Suarez's Achilles heel.

A player like dybala will suit us more, if we are short on money suarez will be the obvious sacrifice for me.

Still, that doesn't mean they won't crumble once they cannot get 25+ goals a season, or can't score in CL quater finals... The expectations here are huge, and just because they are "rare gems" doesn't mean they can just come here and perform at the level Suárez has in the past three years...
