Marc Bartra

How can he be ready when we continue to overplay Xavi and Iniesta and prefers to bench Thiago half of the season. How can he gain experience if we don't let him commit mistakes and learn from it.

I say, let him play a lot of games and let him learn from every game.

This is FCB ,a team that want to win every game and every competition ,we aren't a team who just promote youth players to sell them and generate money ,what you say is totally unacceptable

There were plenty of opponents and games this season where Bartra could have easily gotten some minutes, if not even entire games.

Of course, but with Tito being away, the management didn't want to take any chance by putting a youngster on the field to avoid any kind of risk with him having a bad game or maybe losing some points where the league was still up for grab which will only harm the kid. Now with 9 games left and it's almost officially over, I think we'll see Bartra more than before.

As for next season, we're definitely getting a big name CB which only means no playing time at all for Bartra. So a loan is the solution for him and hopefully he benefits much of the loan if it happens.

I have to agree with this. More especially if the youngster plays in a wide position. if we play a youth at RB eg., then there are 10 first team players on the park - which should be good enough to beat most teams.

I'm not advocating 3/4 young players...perhaps 1, then blood another if its 2 or 3-0. Or give a young CB 30/40 minutes when the game is won.

There's ways and means of giving players experience, which i dont think we do enough, IMO

I don't think he was great. He should, however, get more regular playingtime against small teams during the season. This will get him into a rythm. Throwing him into a game every 5th month is not giving him the best conditions for having a good game.

He was more solid than pique that's for sure, More minutes for him in the past months would have made a big difference, Would've kept him sharp and alert, Rustiness was obvious yesterday, But he did the job well, I can't complain.

I am not against him getting more time ,but he isn't gonna get a lot of minutes specially in a tough position like CB ,he should play all games once we officially wins Liga

Everybody here has been crying out for him to play and they're going to get their wish now with Mascherano out for 6 weeks. Let's hope he can step up to the task.

Wasn't good in the minutes he played. That chance for Gamiero was his fault for crowding Pique on challenging Ibra. Let's pray he sits down with Puyol and gets some instructions.

You can't really blame Bartra for that. Blame the coaching staff for not playing him more this season.

What we fans have been saying all season has come true- That not playing Bartra regularly could be disastrous. I blame Tito/Roura for this. Seems like we fans would do a better job of man management. Now Bartra will have a trial by fire. Hope it doesnt shatter his confidence if he does badly. How can we hope to win the CL with such a shambolic defence.
