With the recent development in Qatar, he can always argue that he doesn't want to associate with blood money and terrorism sponsor nation. PSG/Qatar don't want anymore negative publicity coming from star player who is not happy at the club. If his agent play it smart, he could be sold for a reasnoble fee.

He knows he is rotting away at PSG. If he moves here he will earn a comparable wage and will have a chance to cement himself as one of the best midfielders of this generation. I don't think he is dumb enough to spend his prime in a mickey mouse league and with a club that has zero chance of winning a CL in the next 10 years barring extreme fortune.

The choice is simple here, stay at PSG and be forgotten, or move to Barcelona and etch your name into the history books.

Seri is 40-50, Semedo is 40-50, that would mean that we would have 80-100 for Coutinho, ONLY from regular 100M for this season plus Neymar's sale.

But in a perfect universe, it would be quite doable.

Plus, with Seri-Busi-Verratti in 433 or 4231, we could sell half of our current (squad level) midfielders (Arda, Roberto, Rafinha, Gomes, Denis, Rakitic).

But I know, there is NO WAY that we would buy BOTH Verratti and Seri, not to mention even Coutinho on top of that.

Sell Neymar and buy Coutinho? Wow that is a good one lol. If Verratti and Coutinho are worth 100M then Neymar is worth 200M. Did his buyout increase from 180M to 250M btw, I don't remember. 180M is too less for Neymar in the current market where Mbappe is rumoured to be priced at 135M.

The upper prices it still falls short and the wages of those players in for Neymars wouldnt add up either.

That would make Verratti the ultimate hypocrite and hurt his brand a lot. And the emir would probably close the door on him until his contract runs out, and make him play with the C team in the meantime.

How will this hurt his brand? I would think others will do it anyway. Players like Xavi would probably leave Qatar. The Emir is too busy thinking of his own fate as I don't think him or his father will last, do you think he has the time to think about Verratti?!
