I honestly haven't got a clue who I'd go for at this point, as long as it isn't Paulinho. Problem of course being that it would send the wrong message to our La Masia midfielders, and the obvious fact that there just aren't many attainable young midfielders who possess the attributes I feel we so obviously need; namely being able to hold possession under pressure, tenaciousness and creativity. It's a tall order really, perhaps impossibly tall...

I think a midfielder aged 24-27 is the perfect age. Not so young that it's laughing in the face of our young upcoming talents in midfield (read: Alena), but not so old that signing them is completely meaningless.

I honestly wouldn't mind them being even younger than that - if the talent to make an immediate impact is there of course. It would obviously take some serious spring cleaning of our dead weight in midfield and a coach that is willing to give due chances to our own talents, which I hope and believe Valverde will.

At this moment i think Barcelona can't afford to buy a talent as main midfield signing. They need someone who can perform every game at a high level.

Wrong. Paulinho-mania is plain dumb:similar happened before and it will happen again in the future. Your obsession and Verratti saga are creepy at this point.

If it's true then it doesn't look good for Barcelona. Not because it's Raiola but because of Di Campli barcelona saga. Maybe Verratti doesn't want to push for a transfer that much as his agent is trying to do.

If the board were clever they could sacrifice Neymar who's apparently got itchy feet , Rakitic and Arda BUT replace them with Verratti , Mbappe and Dembele .....

I agree that the board isn't always the brightest when it comes to transfers. But this is a level of stupid that they aren't even on.
Tell me - why would PSG sell Verratti if they got Neymar? There is less a chance than there is now (which is zero %).
