Villareal is a small club, if we want him and he wants us, there's no way they'll be able to stop him. And he might not even be that expensive - we bought Alba and Rakitic quite cheaply from lesser La Liga teams. The question is whether he'll be an improvement over Montoya. I don't want another average RB, I want world class or potential work class RB. Is he more of an offensive kind of fullback like Alves or not?

Before we bought Vidal, Gaspar was one of RBs we've been linked with. Not sure if we are still even considering getting him for the future as we've been looking at Valencia's João Cancelo.
