Nothing can compare to top 5 midfielder in the world, equal to Iniesta/Xavi, more creative than Xavi, better than Gundogan...

For his performances, mostly he plays as a sub so nothing much to say. Truth is several coaches don't rate him. It should tell you something. Either he is bad or he just pisses every coaches off.

A disgusting post, nobody said he was equal to Xavi or Iniesta or that he was more creative than Xavi.

I won't discuss any more with you, but I will point out once again that the coaches that "didn't rate him" were:

- Valverde, whose system is even less fitting for a Puig style player than Koemans
- Setien, who trusted him completely until something strange happened and his formations started to look exactly as Valverdes, at the same time as he was said to have lost the dressing room.
- Koeman, who rather have a second keeper than him on the bench.
- Spanish u21 coach, who recieved a player playing less minutes than probably 99% of active football players since last summer.

What are you talking about.

Puig wasn't ready when Valverde was in charge.

That's just the facts.

Valverde haters are as delusional as the blind Puig haters

Even more to my point then, I don't fault Valverde, it's others that claim that multiple managers neglected him.

Is he still top 5 midfielder in the world??? Check your own post when you compare him to Xavi and co.

I don't mention Barca coaches. Now with U21 Spain, samething to every players, not just Puig. Why is a top 5 midfielder in the world only a bench warmer for them??? Remember they still called him up for group stage last month when he didn't play at all. So they didn't neglect him. Then he is only a bench warmer for the team. With a quality of top 5 midfielder in the world, he should've been a stater easily. Why not??? Not even mention he was never called up pre 2020 for youth team like U17 or U19. Alena at same period was called up btw.
At least it should tell you one or two.

Garcia barely plays for City and Spain still calls him up and plays him.

Your excuse of not playing enough to play for youth team is nonsense. We are talking about youth level here.

Lol, some acting as if starting Puig over Pedri in 1 game is gonna be the end of the world. Apocalypse will come. We won like 5-1 when that happened.

That game was 2-1 with 20 minutes left until Pedri and then finished 5-1 so not quite as straightforward as 'Puig over Pedri and 5-1'.

You love to focus on that game but ignore the other three Puig started was poor in and was subbed off early as Barca turned game.

What are those games? He started only 2 in La Liga I think, and in 1 Messi was on the bench. Messi came on and we turned it around. The point is, him starting the game is no indication whatsoever that you can't play great and clearly win the game.

The game in Copa, Puig started, was bad then was subbed. Pedri came, assisted 2 times, won the game.
