Mavericky Puig

You're claiming I'm misrepresenting half of what you said - baseless claim. You frequently jump on small errors of Ilaix/Pedri and Frenkie mostly in the game chat. Some of these same things you pick out are things Puig did in that video, hence me being picky. Also I'm being picky with Puig because that's the standard that is set for a barcelona midfielder. If you were simply willing to admit you are biased towards Puig then fair enough case-closed.

That game against Cornella gets brought up as THE example of him being bad.
To me, he was the only spark of quality in that very rotated team in the first half, you see him very involved, looking for the correct space, some very nice actions. He lost the ball a few too many times, and a couple of them in silly ways that I have little patience with, but he still showed to me that he is a great player in that little clip. The rest of the team was very static and unsynced in that strange game.

I am biased towards his style and qualities. If he gets to play more and starts to make 6-7 mistakes per game while some of them being stressed pre thought out passes like the one towards the left flank in the video, I would quickly be much less positive towards him. Since that game against Cornella he has played very rarely but managed to improve the team every single time, more or less.

And Riqui Puig saw the disaster from the bench
Article headline today in MD by Xavier Bosch

In a single Cup match, in Granada, Bar?a lost 2-0 in the 87th minute. They had to score two goals to reach extra time and the miracle was worked with the goals of Griezmann and Alba . Yesterday, with 1-2, with 12 minutes left, Bar?a did not even finish off the goal again. The changes of the coach did not help at all and Piqu?'s choice of center forward was a desperate patch. What did Koeman do in Granada to achieve that express comeback? In the absence of half an hour, he put Dest for Sergi Roberto and Demb?l? for Trincao . Everything remained the same. In the 75th minute, as he had no choice, Riqui Puig entered for Sergio Busquets and everything changed. The dynamic player got between the lines and, from lost to the river, with his usual self-confidence he moved the team and opened the Granada defense. To the point that, in just those 15 minutes, Bar?a finished up to 10 times on goal with great danger. In addition to the two saving goals, Demb?l? and Messi finished off the post. His fresh legs, his unpredictable football and less known by the defenses, spent in that minute of the game, were the key to the comeback. We already know that Koeman does not have Riqui Puig , but that day he saved the Cup. Yesterday he could have saved the League. With a draw, Bar?a continued to depend on itself.

What happened Vegitot you were a big fan at the end of last season?

Just like some users here already mentioned. Just he came when Barca was old and needed new blood. I was hyped too but didn't last long. Watching more and more and feel like he is not good as i thought. Plus that Geogre costanza who was full of shit when it came to Puig.
