Adama's only 26, he has a lot of potential with the right people around him.

"Only 26..."?

Huh? What's up with these changing standards? 26 is no longer young, that's the finished product right there. He's a winger he's near the end of his lifeline, they typically start their decline in their late 20s lol.

Many players explode after that age. Not saying he will, but not everyone is Messi or Mbapee who are wc from their teens.

Um no. 28-30 is prime years.

A football player with low to 0 IQ is not going to develop into a good player after the age of 26. A technically inconsistent player at the age of 26 is not going to become a technical consistent player at the age of 26. Stop dreaming.

He won't become any better, but his reputation might still change a lot. It already did just in the last months, because he played decently in a few games in Barcelona whereas he was struggling at Wolves.
His game is simple but can be hard to defend against. With the right role in the right team he can be successful. It was the same with the american Konrad who would've been free to keep. There are more players like that too, although none with the same biceps probably.

This thread is about Depay however, and he was back to shit last game, there is really nothing good to be said about him as a player. He had a couple of slightly better sub-ons lately after the injury, looking a bit fresher and failing a bit less, but last game he was back to his habitual state.

Weird to see so many people here not seeing the mediocrity while they say Messi and Iniesta will do more harm coming back. If they want Pedri and Gavi to grow who else is going to teach them.

Didn't say he will, but that he could. 0 IQ is just too harsh, he does many smart things on the field. Having the perfect pass every time on a stressful situation isn't always easy. Most of the current professional players have much much higher football IQ than everyone in this forum. It's just easy to judge from the outside.
