Essien's agent yesterday said that if Barca or Real were to make an offer for him, he would consider moving.

If Barca are willing to pay nearer 40 million for Mascherano why not just get Essien who's better.

Tackling, pace, strength, goals and he has the passing and touch to fit into the Barca system and work well with Iniesta and Xavi.

A better player than Vieira and he's only just coming into the peak of his career.
