Barcelona want to sign Tanguy Ndombele and have offered Tottenham Hotspur Umtiti and Semedo in the hope of striking a part-exchange deal. [sky sports]

It's happening dawg

They use to be a lot better with transfer news but now they are just bullshitting most of the time now.

Like last summer and January were they kept reporting that we made bids for Willian even though it wasn't the case since 2018.

ESPN:

Manch. City, Tottenham, Juventus, Inter are interested to sign Barcelona's right back Nelson Semedo. The club has set 45 mil. price tag. Semedo's contract expires in 2022.

Try selling from midfield then. If they sell him they also must buy a replacement, it makes no sense.

Why would they even consider selling Semedo since he's the only native rb in the team?

Personally, I wouldn't sell Semedo unless we already have signed a better RB.

Yes. Make no sense to sell our better players and keep the crabs. Sell Umtiti, Firpo, Vidal, Rakitic, Dembele and Griezmann, but do not sign Neymar and Martinez.

Sport says we want Cancelo + money for Semedo but I could actually see us making a stupid deal like Semedo + 20 m for Cancelo.

I wouldn't actually mind selling Semedo for 40m+ (he's probably the most overrated player on barcaforum alongside Arthur) if we'd get a good replacement (which we won't; I see Cancelo as a small upgrade offensively but he's also much worse in defense) and use money to improve other positions like a CB and a midfielder (which again won't happen because we'll use most money on a forward). But this swap deal for Cancelo doesn't make much sense imo.

Anyway, I don't think we're anwwhere close to sealing any incoming or outcoming transfer at this point. Multiple negotiations might be going on but nothing will be finally decided before we'll see if/when current season will finish and how much money Barca and other clubs will lose due to corona.

Let him go, he is a good player and can be very good for some teams but he just doesn't fit here. After many years here he can't even basic positioning, have no idea of how to exploit space, nonexistent quality on the ball and been average defensively. Give me Cancelo. His last season for Juve was the highest level I have seen from a RB since Alves, I think he would be a fantastic fit here.
