Well it's not up for the board to decide. He has release clause; if it's met and he agrees personal terms he leaves, if not he stays, as simple as that. We have no power here and there is no way in hell we should be giving him a new deal with our already massive wage bill nor be signing any of his Brazilian party crew, whom for the most part are not good enough for this club.

This is the only opportunity for a club like PSG to buy super star player and they will pay the 222m. Neymar release clause will automatically increase next year to 250m. it's now or never for PSG. Neymar Sr. understands it will be more difficult to deal with other clubs next year.

rac1 is saying a couple of reasons why Neymar is considering leaving is Because of Money and a chance at being the main man in a project. they also mention there's Five Brazilians as a concession to join PSG.

If Neymar wants to be the main man it is now or never as unlikely teams want to pay 250m for him a year older.
To go somewhere and do that while getting more money must be tempting.
Or stay at Barca a bigger club, never be the main man anytime soon and get blamed probably more than any other starting player when things go wrong.
For his career can see why it is tempting him.

Hazard, Coutinho or Dembele and a midfielder like Thiago Alcantara and we'll have a better team.

Honestly if Neymar wants to go then he should. Barca have lost huge players in the past and still coped. Personally I think his chances of winning the balon d'or are far greater at Barca than PSG but no player ( except Messi) is bigger than the club. Players like Dembele, Dybala etc would join too knowing they'd be considered a starter.

If Neymar goes for 220m you can bet that Chelsea will be looking for 140/150m for Hazard and Liverpool/Dortmund probably looking for well over 100m for Coutinho or Dembele.
Thiago doesnt want to come back.
