Oriol Romeu (loaned to Girona)

Even if we have an option, we won't buy him back. Pep and LE discarded him long time ago. He is better suited for Prem and isn't even close to Busquets level.

He is one of those guys he would never made it at Barcelona, but you have to be glad to see him progress in other clubs.

He has a severe lack of pace. I'm not sure that would be a good idea, especially at Barca.
He played a CB for the 'B' and at lower levels too... If he develops the good positioning, as he is expected to, at Chelsea he would surely be able to play a CB for the main team too

playing big game at 20 and was very very good

Busquets played the Champions League Final at 10 and was very very very good.

like jamrock says, it's his misfortune that he's so close in age to Busi. he won't be coming back as he's too good to be a backup.

yes you are right, he was good
but you have to realize that Busi has been playing for us since he was 16 and came trough ranks and slot into first team very easily, he also played some big games that sextuple season
whereas, Romeu came to Chelsea just 3-4 months before, there´s a certain language barrier, also the system he is playing is not exactly the same as in Barcelona and this was his first "big" game

His one touch passing is simply out of this world and he's ambidextrous as well which is an extremely useful attribute for a player in the holding role.

My only problem with him is he gets beaten for too easily at times. Still needs to work alot on his positioning because he doesn't have the pace to recover quickly enough when someone goes past him.

Still can't get over the fact he made Silva his b**ch. :D

He speaks pretty good English. I don't see that being much of an issue.
