Fabrice Hawkins and Santi JM were the two PSG-bound journalists that started spreading lies two days ago about the player without any info and they continue doing so.
They are trying to create pressure on behalf of PSG.

No need to bite

Every reliable source has reiterated that there is NOTHING from the player's camp indicating he is willing to consider any other club

Gerard Romero did say the club believes he is more out than in and nobody knows what his decision is.

We will see.

Shit opinion? Obviously you have no problem seeing your club being the target of another club (PSG) possibly taking one of your best players by triggering their release clause AGAIN and in this case, with such an idiotically LOW buyout which makes it even worse. I do. It is so damn humiliating.

Getting humiliated at Barça is "business as usual", I suppose. Yeah, shit opinion. Yeah right.
Dude he was a free agent. We didn’t want to give him huge salary (and thank fuck for that!), so the parties compromised. Business. As. Usual.

Nothing embarrassing about that.

It was either losing him for zero or finding a compromise, we found a compromise at a time where we didn't have many options.

In a negotiation no one gets everything they want.

25M is not ideal but better than zero

This stuff doesn't stick. His agent works for him not the other way around. Where he ends up with is where he wants to, simple as. Much like Neymar and his famous dad.

As we found out last time (last spring with the whole renewal saga), that is not the case.
His agent worked towards his own goals without taking the will of the player into account.

And that was evident at the very end when he was forced to take the offer with the significant paycut, because Dembele told him he ain't going anywhere

Saying that the decision is his says nothing.
It's three days since the 'news' broke, and we haven't still heard from any reliable journalist that Dembele is EVEN considering the option.

We signed plenty of players as free agents. Christensen. Gundogan, for example. Did we offer them this sort of idiotic release clause? It is not business as usual.

Particularly knowing how Dembele (and more so his agent) was last summer about the renewal, we shouldn't have caved. This 50m release-clause is an open invitation for the likes of PSG to come in to trigger it. No excuse whatsoever.

Also, perhaps we could have handled this better by keeping wooing him this year to prevent this sort of last-minute surprises from happening. I don't know, player management-wise. Now if he does decide to leave, we are caught off guard. Do we have time and money (25m) to find another winger? It is a shit situation.

Signing a played for free & having one potentially leave for free are two total different things, especially when You're in a position where you can't replace that player.

You make no sense here, Luft. Seriously now. How is losing him last summer as a free agent better than getting 25m now? In pragmatic, bussiness-related terms, we did the right thing. From a romantic, fan-minded perspective, it's humiliating, true, but numbers don't lie. Getting 25m is better than nothing. For a club in our positions every 10 million counts.

We are the only "big club" that gets taken advantage of in this kind of humiliating fashion, and potentially TWICE.

I don't know what to say. Let's get ready for more to come, so the cooler heads here just stick to their "business as usual" line. I envy those.

Of course I can. He caused the financial mess. Any disaster president we have is gonna cause damage for years and years.

The financial ruins is on Bartomeu, no doubt, but Dembele being non-committal for a large part of last summer and toying with us before finally renewing with this clause is not on Bartomeu. It wasn't like we didn't have the money to offer him a competitive contract. It is on Dembele and his agent and those who at the club who caved.
