Faye hasnt been that great for a while.

Has all the tools but out of position a fair bit and needs to learn a lot while in B team.

Played composed, calm when the whole teamplay was falling apart at 2-2. It was a gamble for Xavi that paid well. But definitely not ready for 90min of elite football, yet.

Picked a good game for his debut, Xavi knows we always kick betis in the balls.

But he did well against that run by Henrique, if it wasn't for two errors by de jong would have been a cake walk as usual.

Haha 'two errors by De Jong'.

Tryhard.

Defence should have easily dealt with both goals.

Ferran and the lads saw them through.

Can see why Xavi loves him though. Lads 16 and moved the ball around from CB like a midfielder.

Then when called upon on defensively he knew what to do, apart from that first 5 minute miscalculation which you can forgive him all given the occasion.

He linked very well with FDJ as had no fear to play those little passes through the lines.

The build up of those two and Gundo was top notch in first half.

Yep his ceiling looks incredibly high, which is why the club is trying to lock him down with the same tactic as yamal last season.

If he gets played in a serious game he'll get physically man handled though, but good start, nah great start.

Yeah, it's extremely early days so we will have to see how he grows as a defender when he is actually under the kosh and asked to actually defend.

But on the surface he is the perfect prototype of a Pep (and thus a Xavi) CB so we got to do everything in our power to tie him up. You just know Baldcrotch would love to get his hands on him.

Aye Pep would love him.

City thought they had him in summer and last minute he changed his mind and stayed.

Chelsea would pay his clause now if he gave the green light.
