Paul Pogba

Very very overrated indeed. Everytime I see him play he's just another player on the field. Does some great things, does some good things, does some bad things, does some shitty things. He has a long way to go to justify such a transfer fee and wage.

Vidal has some problems with drinking, thats why he was sold and it didn't help his case that he was average his last season, where we were 1 game away from treble.

Plus his knee problems. But fanboys will ignore these reasons anyway and think Juve will bend over for us and sell him for cheap.

I wouldnt pay more than 50m for Pogba and more than 5m salary(after tax)

And Dybala, Marquinhos, Stones, Laporte and Gaya. /s

Honestly, our mid-field is stacked for now. Priority is back-up LB and future CB.

Verrati and pogba is all we need

--------------Bravo
Roberto---Masch---Pique---Alba
-----Pogba-Busquets-Veratti
---Messi----Suarez---Neymar

Subs: Rakitic, Iniesta, Rafihna, Alves,

He's good, but pretty much most overrated player there is these days. I said "overrated", not "bad" by the way.
Thing about him is: He stands out. Not playwise, just his physical appearance. Black, blonde-dyed, tall, yet skillful, young and does dabbing celebrations.
Many people put that over his actual performances. He could have 10 bad matches, it would go unnoticed. He could score the goal of the season, everyone goes bananas.

Yeah,200 M + of transfers is "all you need".

yeah, sell arda, ignore robertoo, discard denis suarez and hellalovic or lee's improvement to give a message to young generation that they don't have a chance no matter what they have got or whatever they do.

If Barca want a dynamic midfielder with excellent movement and passing, and an eye for goal, then look no further than Southampton's James Ward-Prowse.

This plus maybe a backup forward. I know we had problems getting Nolito in the winter transfer window but we should try again. He wants to come here, would accept a bench role, more quality than Munir and has Barca DNA. That's all we need. No more stars are needed. More risks than rewards would come from another star signing imo.

Celta is refusing to let him go for anything under his release clause- 18 million is way too much for a 29 year DECENT striker, and yes he is only decent. If he was better, he would have made it here in the first place. I think he would definitely be more efficient in front of goal vs Munir and Sandro, but then again many players would be.

We aren't a rich club like many seem to think, we have a fraction of the money RM, PSG, City, Man U etc have. We need to sort out our sponsorships since they are a complete joke at the moment, and we need to eventually start to reel in our wage bill...we should of never let it get this out of hand, but we've been blessed with success in recent years and we need to continue paying those players that have stayed with us and continue to win us titles, both to show appreciation and to keep them motivated.

18mil even in this market for Nolito is just too much for Barca, since you know whoever we buy a CB and LB from (which are the two signings we actually need) is going to take us to the bank.

I would of entertained Pogba as an option if his price, and at the time, wages weren't completely irrational...but we bought Arda, so game over in my eyes. He just got here and hasn't even been playing for 2 months yet. He needs time to prove himself and play like the Arda we saw at Atletico. Even if Arda doesn't work out, which I had high hopes he would, we would't let him go until at least after NEXT season. It's just a shame we overpaid so much for him, but that is what happens when you buy from a direct rival...

The only midfielder worth going after no matter what our situation is Verratti, and that's because there is no one out there like him and he just turned 23. He'd be worth moving players around and a big fee.

Except that he barely has a bad game, even in his four years in Juventus. One thing is to have a average game(All players have those) and another a bad game. It's not the same.

Well, I'm not really so sure if I can agree with you there mate.

IIRC, Pogba was criticized massively when he struggled to perform for several games.
