Cadena SER/El Larguero say Real Madrid could announce Iker's departure tomorrow. They will sign Kiko Casilla back from Espanyol for €4m. Despite Espanyol's President denying that Casilla is for sale.

According to Cadena Ser as well If De Gea joins Real Madrid, Keylor Navas would leave the club.

But Ole Woodward is making it Difficult for it to happen this Transfer window unless he gets something in return aka Ramos. So I assume if this whole deal doesn't happen and Casillas does leave it will most likely Be Navas/Casilla combo for the season.

What??? One of your best players last season.

Why??

We don't have the balance to play him in the team, we need 3 ball playing midfielders if Bale and Ronaldo is to stay in the line up, since both are shit at controling the tempo. So we need a much better defensive midfielder with dribbling skills, and this is why I would welcome Vidal or Pogba, or Veratti, since they can most certainly stick in a foot and also dribble their way through. Toni works perfectly well to control the tempo in a team that plays in rigid lines and discipline. We have neither.

Although he has been one of our best performers, we need to utilize better players in the team, James and Isco to greater effect. You saw how James was poor in the WC when the players behind him couldn't properly defend the area behind him, so he kept on dropping deeper. Kroos wouldn't offer a much better solution.

Another interesting rumor is :
1.Casillas to Porto
2. Casilla to RM to be a sub
3. Navas + cash for De gea

There isn't a Danilo thread as far as I know, we should have one in the RM sub-forum. And apparently Danilo was only £23m after all.

+1

Pretty much what I think every time someone mentions a transfer of a CM, Vidal or Pogba be it. He carried the midfield when Luka was out, but when he's fit he's sometimes a bit redundant, in big games too. If we were chasing the score vs Barca, Isco, James or Vidal are much more desirable to be on the pitch.

He's basically got too much of a German in him. Wouldn't be surprised if Benitez fields Casemiro more often than him should he perform better.
