Still disappointed with his decision. That's why I said that "club is bigger than a coach" defiantly.
We, Mediterraneans are different that Northerners. We are more passionate about things in life and take both winning and defeats more emotionally. We don't clap merrily when our team loses or sit quietly when we are winning.
Pep was/is supposed to be bleeding Blaugrana. Giving it all until the end. And now he leaves everyone disappointed.
Yes, I am thankful for everything and don't know how is it to be in his shoes. But I can only look from my perspective. And, I know that I couldn't leave so many people disappointed.
It'll take a while before this heals.

I don't think it would make sense to most people but it's just the way I feel. Sad and disappointed. It may sound selfish, but I can't help that.

I for one told my one of my friends following the CL semi that Tuesday night that we need not worry for Pep will renew his contract and come back with a fighting spirit next season and reclaim La Liga/CL,only then would he consider leaving,on quite a high note too.A day or 2 later,I hear that there are rumours circulating in Spain that Pep will be stepping down, lol even in the midst of all that,I still had a glimmer of hope that just may be the press want to stir up fictional c**p following events where concerned and he will announce at his press conference that he signed on for another season and then see the priceless reaction from the press given how they were 'spinning' on the contrary. If only.

The same feeling here Bojan but everyone knew from when he took charge that he will not last long at the club.

I still cannot imagine how this team could stand up, remain united without the guidance of our hero..
Yes, villanova is a great tactician, but what about discipline, inspiration, psychology?
All those things that only a master like guardiola could harness and keep the balance..

I always wanted him to become our ferguson and never leave this place..
But i respect his decision.
He came to the conclusion that the whole thing needed a change. Success is a bad habit, can make you very complacent. And this year it appeared emphatically in LaLiga..
He sacrificed his head, went first to the battlefield and gave his life for the club and the ideas.

I just hope he would return soon for his part number 2 as a coach.
His heart is in Catalunia, will always be there..

A wonderful piece.

Definitely, thanks for the share

Yeah, pressure...It's a massive amount of pressure...Life's too short so while I am very disappointed in Pep's resignation, I'm happy for the person...I'm not sure everyone needs to endure that sort of lifestyle indefinitely, even for their club...He gives everything to the club which likely explains the sort of fatigue he's succumbed to

I believe he'll be back and I don't mean coaching but he'll be back at the club where he belongs eventually...He is Barça after all...I'm sure we can see him as a President in the near future

I've noticed that the foreign press had more kind words towards Pep then the spanish or catalan reporters(some of the pieces from MD, Marca, Sport or AS have made me sick to my stomach). Maybe with time they will realize that because they wasted too time searching for his flaws, they couldn't accept him for who he is: a man who loves his club and his country and tried to make them both better.

That's one epic song..
