This guy is a God. :worthy:

IMO.

Pep is overrated. If anyone was put in charge of Messi they would have done a better job. He had everything. Xavi , Iniesta , Valdes , Ronaldinho ... everything. It was no surprise he became immense. I would like to see him try something different, like acctually make a great team himself. Other than take over from someone else. Example ; Jupp Heynckes and Frank Rijkaard.

He was successful because he had everything, yet both his predecessor and his successor came nowhere close to his success with the same team?

As I said on the other thread, I bet we'd still be the best team in the world if he were still in charge.

Agreed, albeit not with the exact same players. I think some players are simply 'past their peak' and need fresh alternatives. So no, I don't think (as others have suggested) that Tata has the same team as Pep at his disposal, but the difference is that Pep would take the necessary steps to rejuvenate the team according to its needs.

This guy hired private detectives to see what pique was up to. Im.sure he would benched or sold many underperformers to ensure we maintain our standard.

The standard of teams Barcelona have to over come now is stronger than when Peps team were dominating so it will be harder for his predecessors.

But to suggest he had it easy is a joke, those same players Pep took over had just finished third in the league.

I think you need to remember that Barcelona never won the league or CL in his last season and he has basically admitted that the players were no longer responding to him the way they once did.

At a club like Barcelona it is almost impossible for a manager to stay longer than Pep did.

Hence why he wanted to sell many players and wasn't allowed to by rosell and hence left

Don't know about the private detectives :)lol:) but this! That's what we need and what Pep would have the courage to do.
