Foden is the real deal. Will be fighting for Ballon d'Or in the future for sure. Potential like KdB, if not higher.

Has he ever made a tackle ??

He has got decent skills and he s a threat with his fast , darting runs but I just see him prancing around avoiding any physical contact like there is a plague .

Also he rarely passes the ball more than ten metres so he can hardly be regarded an all round midfielder...

Well tough tackling is not his game and it wasn't iniestas either. He has so many other attributes when it comes to attacking it doesn't matter. He can certainly take a tackle and mostly looks to stay on his feet

Does it really matter what you "see"? lol

Doubt you knew KdB would end up as the indisputable best attacking midfielder/creator in the world back when he was in Belgium and Germany...

Na -he is good technically but he is not a patch on Pedri for potential
for example.

He is simply in the perfect team to make him look great

He would not be anywhere near as effective in another team .

I actually think the hype is going a little bit overboard. He's getting the benefit of being seen as a midfielder when in reality he's playing as a wide forward. Today people are talking about him being in double figures for goals and assists, which is great, but Sancho who is the same age as him has been doing that for three seasons straight. You put Sancho in that City team and he'll get you 40+G/A every season. The real test for Foden will be when he has to actually learn his trade and be a competent #8, which surely has to be his destination, despite Pep not trusting him as much in that position so far.

Agreed

I see people suggesting that he is the perfect midfielder yet he has never made a tackle or even put his foot in , never heads the ball , does not press that well and rarely tracks back ..

Who's seeing him as a midfielder and why would he need to be? He's got the finishing in him, and he's been playing on the wings almost exclusively for a while now. With City a bit light in that area he can make either wing his own, especially with Mahrez also winding down, so even if Alvarez/Grealish eventually become starters on the left, he'll still be the undisputed starter on the right wing, especially since he's left footed. Plus he Haaland really seem to be clicking on the pitch, so it's better they play closer together, as oppose to Foden being moved back to midfield.
