Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

El Gato

Villarato!
Are you sure of that, Auba was to earn 9m net this season (which is 18m gross). Chelsea might offer him 12m net but anything above doesn't really make sense

Where's this from
Last I've seen he was supposed to get some 17 to make up for what he gave up in winter

EXCL: Chelsea have submitted a bid to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona. Offer believed to be ?15m + Marcos Alonso moving opposite way. #FCBarcelona yet to respond. Personal terms with 33yo Gabon striker would be no issue

Sell. Key factor is Auba being basically similar age to Lewandowski. And Lewa being a pretty fit player with minor injury problems.

That would be good move, because Auba makes more money next season and getting up there in age. I think Alonso would come in with smaller salary.

In case Lewa get injured, who will replace him if we let Auba go? Just don't tell me F.Torres, because he has no qualities to be a Barca player. We have tried Ansu as # 9 but it did not work. And Aubameyang is playing really well since he arrived. And lastly, we don't need that washed up guy Alonso. We need a younger sub for Jordi, who can eventually be our starter from next season.

Stop it. Ferrans got all the qualities and Ansu can definitely be developed in that role

Qhe we need alonso too. Desperately.

We will struggle just like every club who loses their best player.
We don't have the luxury to make insane depth in attack while other lines are awful

Yea but Alonso is almost as old as Alba and it's questionable whether he is more effective going forward and he is definitely worse on defense. I rather bring in 25mil for Auba and spend it on a younger, class LB or RB. We could survive with Alba and Balde this season. RB should be priority over LB. Dest cant be given another year to prove himself when we have no option other than him. It would of only made sense if we got Azpi.

If we sell Auba it will be 100% due to wages.

I still do not understand the logic behind Alonso. An ageing, attack minded left back with questionable defending ability. Does that not describe someone else already at the club?

Not going for the sporting side of things, but a necessity with the salary cap issues.

I do think though, that there are doubts that last half seasons burst of form can be repeated. And as Perez has showed, timing in sales is everything.

They absolutely want him and it is not about doubting what he can bring.

It is about the current financial situation and pure profit on a player that will be a back up.

Was a brilliant signing.
