Haaland will enter the last year of his contract in 2026. Also Lewa expires same time, although has extension option for another year.

The stars may align. But Nike sponsorship of both Haaland and our club doesn't play that big of a role. Mbappe is also Nike, but displays publicly Adidas logo on the chest every 3 days.

It's unlike Adidas, who own 8% of Bayern Munich and one can speculate how much this influence outgoing transfers and clubs wearing your brand.

This is an error in transfermarket, Lewa option is in 2025, and it isn't a player or team option, but performance based.

The phrasing is misleading. It's not extension, but conditional 2025/26 season. Technically Transfermarkt are correct. It ends in 2026, unless Lewa tears ACL.

2026 is ideal to move from Lewa. What better way to present the new fully built Camp Nou than with a Haaland presentation in the summer of 2026 in front of a massive crowd?

I was thinking similarly. If Lewa's form flourishes under Flick till the end of this season, 2025/26 season is quite desirable too, with him playing the crucial striker role, with the World Cup ending his career on the big stage. Haaland would be the perfect replacement of Lewandowski as#9, from all of the other options that there are today.

Call me cuckoo but I don't think Real looks appealing to Haaland. I feel if there were possibility he would pick Barca over Real any day of week. It takes a bit of conceitedness to want to be a Real player. Haaland is too down-to-earth.

This is why Portuguese players fail at Barca.
Haaland will pick the team that has the highest chance of winning trophies while also paying a good amount. Let's not kid ourselves here.

Why wouldn't Madrid look appealing to him? Because of his personality?

Mbappe is already playing second fiddle to Vinicius. Doubt Haaland want to come and join that situation.
it's a long way to go though. A lot can change.

But Madrid don't have a pure #9 so Haaland has his clear spot.

Not comparable to Mbappe with Vini who are competing for same spot. Mbappe's biggest problem currently is that he isn’t playing in his best position.

His best position is an free attacker, his wnd best is no9, and then LW.

Halaand as a 9 takes space from Mbappe and Bellingham, it will add more to the crowding
