Mata might go to PSG
Makes sense. They need a #10, right?
Mata might go to PSG
will PSG be interested in letting chelsea have either Ibra or Cavani as part of Mata deal? They will struggle to get best out of Mata if they play with 2 strikers and Chelsea are in desperate need of a striker...Chelsea will walk the league with either Ibra or Cavani...Makes sense. 2 points from their last 9 for Arsenal. I really want them to go all the way this year but I just don't see it happening. I don't buy into the notion that they are the team to beat. They can't win against the top teams and the City juggernaut is getting into full swing now.
I was just looking at it from Chelsea perspective....Jose will happily trade Mata for a top striker and may even pay extra cash in case of Cavani but It's unlikely because Cavani will not leave PSG because he'll be cup tied in europe and PSG have decent chance of reaching latter stages of the Champions league..They play a 4-3-3 that on paper looks more like 4-3-1-2 or even 3-5-2. So they actually play with three strikers. So it's not really a striking partnership with Cavani and Ibra, it's an attacking trio. Mata could definitely fit in to that, but it would be on the expense of either Lavezzi or Lucas and also of Ibra's full impact. He's practically a what you'd describe false 9 at the moment. They don't really need Mata. Cabaye on the other hand...
.
Not as good as I hoped they would be but not terrible either. They won against Liverpool, Spurs and then picked up two points against Chelsea and Everton. And then they've had two defeats, both against the Manchester teams.
And hey, they could always do what United have done in the past. Bully the lesser of teams and fail against the top teams. If I'm not mistaken, United had the worst record (of the top teams) against the top teams in 2008/2009 and Liverpool had the best. United still finished the seasons as champions.
Rooting for Liverpool tomorrow, would be great if they could put an end to City's home form.
Arsenal are my favourite PL team, but I dislike City and it would be fun and refreshing to see Liverpool and Arsenal running away points-wise.Guesz ur not an Arsenal fan
