Kagawa does not play those killer passes though. It's a myth.
Maybe but his link up play is excellent and we lacked composure when we attacked and kagawa would've provided that composure....Janujaz would've been more effective with kagawa on the pitch....

Yep its strange to me that Kagawa isn't playing more. Also with no RVP then surely Hernandez should be playing more often than he is.

6pts + goal difference behind Liverpool, 6 points behind Spurs, 4 behind + goal difference against Everton who also have a game in hand. He needs all three teams to have three bad results, + increase United's own form from 1.7 pts a game to 2 pts a game and we all know how hard that is.

Alternatively he has to to get United out-performing the three ahead with 16 games to go. Current rate has Everton, Spurs and Liverpool on 75 by end of season. Because of goal difference, United will possibly need 39 points from 48 left on offer. So they will need to win 13 of 16 games, or improve to 2.44 points a game. Huge, huge ask and that's just to make 4th.

Presuming one of Arsenal, Chelsea or Man City keep up their current pace, 2.3 pts a game, give or take, Arsenal, United or Chelsea can expect a haul of about 86-88 points. That means even if United won all their remaining matches, they still wouldn't have enough points (to win the league). Thus for the first time in premier league history Man U are out of the title race in the winter.

All hail the Moyesiah!!!!!!

I think we should ignore Spurs and Everton and focus on finishing ahead of Liverpool....Spurs will drop points against all top sides so if we beat Liverpool(Home) and Everton(Away) we will have decent chance of finishing in top 4.....

You make it sound so simple.

Why concentrate on finishing ahead of us? Everton aren't going away they'll be contenders for 4th right until the end of the season. Spurs too. So you need to worry about the 3 teams imo.

I'm not saying it's going to be easy but it's still in our hands and there's no point in just giving up....I fear that Moyes is resigned to finishing outside top 4 and waiting until summer to sign players...

even if Everton finish ahead of us they will not be able to compete with us financially in the summer and they will lose Lukaku and Deulafeu so in long term it wont hurt us if Everton finish 4th.....Liverpool on the other hand will be able to build on top 4 finish and if they don't qualify they may even lose Suarez....and I'm really not too convinced about spurs because they always choke up against top teams and I'm counting on them losing against Chelsea,Liverpool,Arsenal and City.....

You need to concentrate on yourselves first and get a run together. You have Cardiff and Fulham at home and Stoke, Arsenal and Palace away before March. I'd say you need 12 points from those fixtures.

In March you have City and ourselves at home and WBA away. I'd say you need at least 7 points from those.

So the need really is to get a run going to put pressure on the other three.

Because if you are waiting for us then before our match in March we have Everton, WBA, Arsenal, Fulham, Swansea, Southampton and Sunderland.

Say you get 15 points before our meeting - for arguments sake - this means effective with our superior goal difference that is 8 points ahead.

With home games against Everton, Arsenal, Swansea and Sunderland - minimum I expect is 6 points. Beating either Everton or Arsenal will get us to 9 points and 1 above the 8 point lead you'd theoretically get. With away games at WBA, Fulham and Southampton we should at least get 4 points so 5 point lead over you heading to April.

Bascially what I am saying is get a run together get some momentum and stop worrying about the other 3 until you do so.

If it's not Moyes and his fetish with players like Fellaini at CAM that's causing this problem, I'm really starting to think the Kagawa situation is because Man U and the Glazers wanting to keep Rooney, or maybe even preventing Kagawa from taking his role. Obviously Kagawa is good enough to start at CAM at Man U. If he keeps getting good games, he's going to push Rooney out of his position. This opinion is extreme, but I'm basing it on the fact that he pushed Gotze wide at BvB.
