Semi-Neutral

Sir Alupp Heynrguson
I'm talking about willian and specially Schurrle.......

Didn't see anything that amazed me, a far cry from teams like Real or Atletico or Dortmund or even Liverpool.

And Dzeko scores! 1-0 City! Not looking good for Liverpool...

It's fair. It isn't illegal, and it's a tactic. Sure, they'll never build a legacy playing like that, but Mourinho and Chelsea only care about winning. If Roman Abramovic fancies winning at all costs, than it's fine by me. Every style deserve respect, the way they commit to get a result is admirable.

Read the next line. If someone gets away with diving to win penalties, it's a tactic too right? Purposely going down in the box at slight contact? Technically legal, deserves respect I presume.

Yea, those are tactics too, but they are not respectable. I never defend time wasting, divings or non-sportive behaviour. But defending with 10 men is not immoral or wrong in any way.

Sacrificing the integrity of the game in the name of just getting the result at any cost does not merit an ounce of respect. Mourinho is not managing a minnow. If he cannot win playing football, then he should not win at all. What he is doing isn't football, but the destruction of it.

I wouldn't say so for a lower table team that are desperate to get points. For a team that has a bigger budget than any other besides RM in football, playing cowardly football is not respectable. You can do it, you can succeed with it, but don't expect anything but disgust. They're allowed to do whatever they want to win, but they won't get respect for it.

Sometimes I think whether Real deserves to be the most hated club by barca fans.If real was from another country and we were not inevitable rivals, then probably chelsea would be my most hated club.

At least Real Madrid entertain better than Chelsea.

I don't want to start an argue, but any tactic that does not involve unsportmanlike behaviour is fair and admissible. I hate Chelsea for their time-wasting and I don't like Mourinho because he is theatrical. But to say a team does not deserve respect because it plays defensive football is wrong IMO.

What integrity of the game? And who specifically defines it?

Most Sky and Espn commentators view him as a football genius.
