You are looking good at the minute and have probably played as well as anybody (and better than most!) at City today. Thing is though looking at the table, let your form slip for a few weeks and you could easily drop down the table (I'm sure you're aware despite how well you have been playing you are still only 5 points off 8th!) So I don't think you can think about taking 4th for granted yet. That said, keep the form up though and I'll have to admit you are genuine title contenders soon.

Like I say though there is still a long way to go. I know from recent history United have the balls for a tough run in so I'm confident we'll be up there sooner or later, but now Liverpool have to prove they do too. Exciting stuff.

I'm not taking 4th for granted just expressing my belief that we will be hard to dislodge in that position currently.

United are slowly creeping up, if they make solid January signings they'll probably make top 4. Chelsea really need to sign a good striker though. I still facepalm that we missed Aguero and Falcao.

City are really struggling to break Crystal Palace down. 0-0 at half-time.

EDIT: 6-0 Hull at the moment. What the hell?

The way United defend when up 1-0 is really aching but Moyes seems determined to continue that way until he creeps into the top 4.

We defended less after we scored actually. Norwich had chances at 0-0 and comfortably played the best stuff in the first half , but when we scored their threat pretty much faded.

Anyway, it was a great away win considering. It might not seem it on paper and it certainly wasn't pretty, but with our two best players injured (Rooney, Van Persie) and with Rafael, Valancia and Nani...basically the whole right side of our team, also all either injured or suspended, and Carrick lacking match fitness in his first game back, I was really worried we wouldn't get anything from the game beforehand.

I'm impressed that our winning mentality seems to still be there, even with half our team missing, and I'd hope/expect much better when we can get our best players on the pitch together.

and if Liverpool lose today we will be just 2-3 points away from top 4 and if we can get couple of midfielders during January we can definitely qualify for the champions league.....
