Can understand why, isn't he a legend down at selhurst? Not to mention fans have given him shit for ages despite the constraints with the owner and having to sell his best players.

Based on what I've seen of him at West Ham, he's one of the best shot-stoppers out there. MOTM when Betis beat Real Madrid, and took Betis to 7th in La Liga. I'm guessing he is in large part responsible for West Ham's good position in the table.

Probably never got called because he only started playing Primera in 2012, and there were already three keepers ahead of him. Even Valdes and Reina barely played when Casillas was undisputed top dog. I expect he may be on the short list for the future, but now also has De Gea as competition.
